For every dollar collected
from our members cards the
Wakefield Hotel will match with 100% of all
donations collected passed on to the Australian
Professional Firefighters Foundation Inc. (APFF)
So how is the donation used ?
The Women's and Children's Hospital burns unit (Newland
Ward) is a major beneficiary of the APFF and usually
request equipment that they need but would not be
supplied from within the hospital system. In 2010/2011
the APFF funded projects such as the renovation of
the sanitary area, providing flat screen tv's to beds
that had none and providing iPads to the ward.... Check out the

November 2011 - Shake the Boot 2011
 Funds presented to the APFF - Shake
the Boot, the annual Fundraiser held by the APFF
to raise money for burns survivors - Supporting
the pediatric burns unit of the Women's and
children's Hospital was held on Friday 4th of
November. The Wakefield's Venue manager Kat
presented a donation of $2334 to the APFF
(Donation made up of $1167 by members plus $1167
by the Wakefield hotel) - 100% of the donation
will help fund upgrades to the ward in the
coming year - stay tuned for more updates as
they become available. |
November 2011 - Total Donations raised
now totals $3360
| Patron donations so far this
year total $1167 plus with the Wakefield hotel
matching that dollar for dollar brings the total
for 2011 to $2334. Add that to last years
donation for a grand total of $3360 raised for
the APFF |

$2984 ($1492 per person).
**prize is based on LOW season airfares flying
with Singapore Airlines (Adelaide /Singapore /Phuket/
Singapore/Adelaide – no provision for a stopover
in Singapore has been made) and includes taxes
and applicable fuel levies as at 01-OCT-11,
prize-winner is liable to pay any increase in
fuel levies and/or taxes should they be greater
than those quoted on 01-OCT-11. Seats are
limited and to ensure bookings can be confirmed,
please consult with the booking agent (Travel
Concepts) between MON-09-JAN and TUE-31-JAN so
that arrangements can be discussed and bookings
put into place (please consult with the

**prize has to be booked with Travel Concepts at
least 60 days prior to departure
**prize-winner must be in possession of a valid
passport and that passport must be valid for at
least 12 months beyond the intended date of

**prize can be up-graded to higher class
airfares and/or accommodation subject to the
prize-winner furnishing these costs as invoiced
by Travel Concepts upon confirmation of
arrangements
**prize can be transferred prior to TUE-31-JAN,
no changes to passenger details after that date

prize-winner wish to amend to either 1 adult / 1
child or other scenario such as adding
additional seats, package will need to be re-costed

invoiced directly to the prize-winner

will assist with the issuance of a policy once
